  • ORIENTATION-30 minutes to an hour-       FREE This class covers brief history of FVTV, available equipment and requirements for becoming an FVTV Producer.
  • INTRODUCTION TO CAMERA-3 hours-$40/$30 for members This class covers the basic operation of cameras used to make independent films, documentaries and public access programming.
  • BASIC EDITING-3 hours-$40/$30 for members This class is for everyone who wants to become the next Steven Speilberg. In this class you will learn to get the most out of the free editing software that is included on all Windows and Mac computers.  Windows Moviemaker and Imovie are two editing packages that can handle the bulk of editing tasks for someone who wants to make a TV show or short movie.
  • EDITING IN FINAL CUT PRO-6 hours-$60/$50 members Editing in FCP is for aspiring professionals and FVTV Producers to cut their teeth on industry standard software.
  • ADVANCED CAMERA-4 hours-$50/$40 members Advanced Camera is for FVTV Producers who want to make TV.  This class is what a camera operator in the field needs to know to shoot high quality video on the most advanced equipment.
  • INTRODUCTION TO LIGHTING-3 hours-$40/$30 members In this class students will learn how lighting is an integral part of using a camera.
  • AUDIO FOR VIDEO 101-3 hours-$40/$30 members In this class students will learn about different types of microphones and how they work with cameras to provide a complete audio and visual experience.
  • MULTI-CAMERA-4 hours-$60/$50 members In this class students will learn how to manage three or more cameras, lights and a switcher.  The emphasis will be on planning and setting-up a multi-camera shoot.
